art workshop: proferio grossi
Children are training at art work: copy of a painting of Proferio Grossi.
Proferio Grossi (born in 1923, died in 2000) took part in the artistic movement Real Art Movement run by Bruno Munari. He dedicated his art to the “paintig of objects” espacially to still-life.

art workshop: arcimboldo
Arcimboldo was born in Milan in 1527. He was a famous italian painter manierista (Mannerism).
In 1558 he did drawings for some stained-glass windows of Duomo di Milano, and fresco Albero di Jesse (The Jesse Tree) in Monza Cathedral.
In 1562 he was summoned up to the emperor’s Ferdinand the 1st court in Praga, as portrait painter. He was also musician, poet and set designer; but he became famous thanks to his imaginary ideas and unusual creations. His peculiarity is to make portraits using images of fruits, vegetables and animals. His most famous paintings are the Seasons, the Four Elements and a portrait of the emperor Rudolf the 2nd.
He died in Milan in 1593.
